The Elite Laser Hair Removal system can permanently reduce hair and is available for all areas of the body, which means no more razors, tweezers or painful waxing!

The Elite MPX, incorporates Cynosure’s patented MultiPlex technology, and is a highly versatile laser that combines two gold standard wavelengths in one system: the 755 nm Alexandrite laser and the 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. The beauty of this system is that there is the capability of using them individually, switching between them, or blending them with the MultiPlex sequencing technology, allowing for a personalised laser hair removal treatment to suit each individual with different skin types and most hair types.

To ensure that you are comfortable throughout the treatment, the technology incorporates the Zimmer Integrated cooling system to maximize client comfort. The Zimmer provides a continuous flow of chilled air that protects the skin.

Nearly any part of the body can be treated safely and comfortably, including the face, neck, legs, bikini line, underarms, arms, back and stomach, on both men and women.

How does it work?
The Elite MPX laser hair removal produces an intense but gentle burst of light that prevents hair growth by increasing the temperature in the hair follicle enough to damage the follicle’s germ cells without damaging the skins surface or surrounding tissue.

Unlike electrolysis, which involves injecting a needle into each and every hair follicle, the Elite laser emits a powerful beam of light that passes through the skin and targets many follicles at once.
This means instead of spending months or even years getting electrolysis treatments, patients can now permanently solve their unwanted hair problems in significantly less time. Laser permanent hair removal treatments are faster, safer and much more effective.

Although you’ll see a noticeable, permanent reduction in the number of hairs after your first treatment, we typically recommend 6-8 treatments to permanently reduce the number of re-growing hairs by more than 80%.

What is involved during the treatment?
Your Aesthetic Therapist will first perform an in-depth consultation and your medical history will be taken, to ensure that there are no reasons why you shouldn’t have the treatment, and you will be asked to sign a consent form at this time which means that you have understood the potential benefits and risks associated.
Your Aesthetic Therapist will then perform a patch test on the area that you would like to treat so you can feel the sensation of the treatment and so we can make sure there is no adverse reaction.

The procedure will start with a cleanse of the area to remove any impurities on the surface, your therapist will then mark out areas on the area to be treated with a white pencil to create a guide. The Elite MPX handpeice will then be gently applied to the area moving up and down the area to be treated whilst the emitting a beam of light . We will apply aloe gel to the area and if the face has been treated we will follow with an SPF.

Can all skin types be treated?
Yes, the Elite MPX can be used on all skin types, all year round, even with an active tan, and can be used on most hair types.
Does it hurt?
You may feel a slight sting when the laser is applied, like the snapping of a small rubber band.
What is the skin appearance after the treatment?
The skin can appear slightly flushed straight after treatment, but this will generally fade after a few hours of treatment.
When will I see results?
You will start to see results about 2 weeks after your first treatment and the results will improve over the course.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of 6 treatments, at 4 – 6 weekly intervals. Top up treatments may be needed after the course is finished, but this varies from person to person.
