The growth factor serum contains proteins that are naturally present in healthy, young hair follicles. This encourages a normal hair growth cycle, resulting in new hair growth and thicker, fuller looking hair. Stem cells that line the hair follicles are crucial for the production of hair, and the growth factor serum supports these stem cells so that hair can re-grow. It also increases the circulation of nutrients that provide the ideal environment for healthy hair growth.

In clinic we combine the application of the serum with dermastamping to ensure maximum penetration.

Your Aesthetic Therapist will first perform an in-depth consultation and your medical history will be taken, to ensure that there are no reasons why you shouldn’t have the treatment.

We will apply a topical anaesthetic prior to treatment and leave this on the skin for up to 30 minutes, the area will then be cleansed and the AQ Advanced Hair Complex applied to the area to be treated. Your therapist will then perform the stamping treatment to allow for penetration of the AQ Hair Complex Serum.

We recommend combining this treatment with the SmartLux LED light for optimum results in hair regeneration.

Depending on your sensitivity, the AQ Stamp treatment can be uncomfortable so we can use a local anaesthetic cream to numb the area prior to treatment.

The area treated will be red straight after the treatment. The skin can stay slightly pink for a maximum of a couple of days, but most of the time this should fade within 24 hours or so.

Results vary on each individual, but most see results after 8 weeks following treatment.

We recommend a course of 5 treatments taken at weekly intervals.
