How does it work?

The Harmony XL is fifth generation IPL accommodating Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) pulsed light and laser technology in the same cosmetic laser system, for super skin rejuvenation. The Harmony XL AFT Pulsed Light is applied in a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates the sub-surface skin layers and is absorbed by the blood vessels or by pigmentation. The heat impairs the vessel or lesion, and the body begins its natural healing process. The result is that over time, lines and wrinkles reduce in depth, and in the case of fine lines, may disappear altogether. Overall skin tone is improved.

Its superior power allows for a higher fluence treatment but patient comfort is optimised through the aid of the continuous motion. The unique IN-Motion technology combines concurrent cooling with a gradual thermal rise to the target temperature, without the risk of injury and with much less pain for the patient.

The pictures were taken with our Visia skin analysis which shows both the pigmentation under and on the skin’s surface. Comparing the ‘after’ with the ‘before’ photo, we can see that the pigmentation has broken up and has been diminished.
