Prior to the treatment, the wrinkles look like deep ridges and dips in the surface. This is due to a breakdown of collagen and elastin, the proteins that form the building blocks of skin. Once injected, the Dermal Fillers act like a support, providing structure where it is lacking. This gives the skin a plumped, more youthful appearance.
